It now values competitiveness, meritocracy and transparency" This holds true for IT and the related sectors where the markets are global. Also the “Trimurthi” of Indian IT - Infosys, Wipro and TCS have maintained high standards of integrity and competitiveness and became role models for other companies to emulate. The other sectors like petrochemicals, textile and sugar still remain rampant with red tape and corruption. It is still a long way to go for them.
